Dishwasher Anti Siphon - Air Gaps or High Loops

A dishwasher anti siphon should always be installed. The anti siphon device can be an air gap or a high loop. Although modern dishwashers appear to have a high loop installed on the side of the machine, dishwasher manufacturers state that an anti siphon device should still be installed.

The HOA Will Pay

It is important to remember that the HOA will pay for repairs, but you are paying for those repairs with your HOA Dues. If the repair is too large, you may have to pay a big lump sum to the HOA to fix the issue.
